Getting involved in JumboCast

JumboCast is open to all Tufts undergrads with all levels of experience and none. We commentate games (play-by-play and color), direct the livestream, operate cameras, and create graphics and video content around Tufts athletics.

We hold a general interest meeting near the start of each semester, so be sure to check @jumbocast on Instagram for details. If you missed it, don’t worry! We hold meetings most Mondays at 9PM in Olin 012, and anyone is more than welcome to stop by.

Once you’ve joined and start signing up for games, we will give you some training before you call or direct a full game on air, regardless of experience (cameras are open to all). Once both you and the club feel you’re ready (typically after 1-3 games of training), you’ll be cleared to call or direct full games. Outside of broadcasts, if you’re interested in graphics or video content, we’d love for you to get involved and reach out to the relevant e-board members.
